WHAT TO EXPECT?
During this 2,5-3 hour long experience with
our photographer, we visit a local reindeer farm and learn about the traditions
of reindeer herding in Lapland. During your visit you will embark on 2 km sleigh
ride pulled by reindeer. You will even get to feed your reindeer after the ride!
You will also hear stories and learn
interesting facts about reindeer herding in Lapland and how reindeer are an
integral part of the nature and culture in Northern Finland.
We will depart from Rovaniemi by minibus
and take a short 35-minute drive to the reindeer farm. At the farm you will
hear stories of reindeer herding and get to feed and meet the reindeer. You
will also enjoy a hot drink and snacks in a warm shelter.
This tour is the
perfect choice if you want to experience Lapland’s iconic reindeer in a
peaceful nature setting and in small groups. It is also the only reindeer farm

The experience begins in Rovaniemi with a minivan journey of about 35 minutes to a local reindeer farm. At the farm, you learn about reindeer herding traditions and the role of reindeer in northern Finnish nature and culture.
You take a two-kilometre sleigh ride through the snowy forest, then meet and feed the reindeer. A hot drink and snacks are served in a warm shelter.
