Why choose this tour?

  • Ride an electric snowmobile through Arctic forest and across frozen lakes at night
  • Travel away from city lights to a hilltop sky-watching location
  • Cover approximately 20–30 km during 1.5–2 hours of driving
  • Stop at a scenic viewpoint for night photographs
  • Take a 45–60 minute kota break with food and hot drinks

Join us for a true night time adventure to hunt for the Northern Lights with electric snowmobiles!

During the tour you get to ride electric snowmobiles through the forests and frozen lakes.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We ride our eSleds to the top of a hill far from the city lights – an
ideal place for watching the Northern Lights. During the ride we’ll
stop to observe and admire the night sky and, if we are lucky, see the
Northern Lights as well.

Since eSleds are quiet, we don´t disturb
animals in the area. Therefore, we have a better
chance to meet reindeer and other arctic animals in their natural
habitat. There will be a stop on a scenic view point to take some nice
photos!

You will enjoy a nice break by campfire in a cozy wooden
kota, where there is possibility to grill some sausages with the help of
our guide.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY OPTION

Environmentally friendly and silent eSled do not use any petrol or other
polluting chemicals, just electricity. Since 2018 we have been offering
these new innovative eSled tours as an alternative for normal petrol
used snowmobiles. Same fun, same experience but in a way that respects
precious Arctic nature!

WHY CHOOSE THIS TOUR?

  • Enjoy driving electric snowmobiles in the arctic nature

  • Environmentally friendly option
  • Grill your own snacks on open fire!

What to expect?

After receiving winter equipment and driving instructions, you set out on an electric snowmobile. Two people share each sled. Drivers must be at least 18 and hold a valid driving licence accepted in Finland.

The guide leads the group through forest and over frozen lakes toward a hill away from city lights. The group stops to observe the night sky and may see the Northern Lights if natural conditions allow, but no sighting is promised.

The route also includes a scenic photography stop and a 45–60 minute break in a wooden kota, where sausages, flatbread, pastries and hot drinks are served.
