It´s effective and easy way to reach
destinations you have no access with car or other vehicles. Nowadays, it is
still the most common type of transportation for reindeer herders during the wintertime.
On this 3-hour evening tour, the journey
begins in darkness. We ride on the private, well-maintained trails through
frost covered pine forests and any clearings through the quiet and peaceful
landscapes. Imagine gliding nearly silently through the frozen forest, while
still getting the thrill of riding a snowmobile.
The area is also the natural habitat for
the reindeers, and you may be able to see reindeer as we ride along. Since
eSleds are quiet, we don’t disturb the animals in the area.
During the tour, we will also visit the
reindeer enclosure for a closer look at this iconic arctic animal.
We even stop in the middle of the woods to
enjoy the silence and serenity, take some beautiful photos along the way, and enjoy
a nice break by a campfire in and enjoy a hot drink to warm up.
While we wait for the Northern Lights to
appear in the sky, you will pass the time hearing stories and myths, told by
your tour guide.
ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILES – A BETTER CHOICE
Silent and comfortable eSleds do not use
any petrol or other polluting chemicals, just electricity. Since 2018, we have
been offering eSled tours as an alternative for normal petrol-powered snowmobiles.
Same fun, same driving experience but in a
way that respects the precious Arctic nature!
