Camera recommendations:
We highly recommend that you bring your own DSLR camera to our tours, as we cannot guarantee that you are able to take night photos with compact or phone cameras. Your guide will also provide professional photos as a memory from the tour. Depending on program of the tour; 5-15 photos/group sent a few days after the tour.
Aurora & weather forecasts:
Northern Lights are always unpredictable and there is no guarantee that we will find them every night.
However, we give you the best possible chance to experience and photograph these mystical wonders of the Arctic area. On those nights when we are unable to find Northern Lights because of heavy clouding or snowfall, we will concentrate on night photography in the middle of the Arctic nature and take you to some of our night photography locations!
Depending on the weather conditions each night, we might sometimes use same locations with other teams to maximize our chances to see the Northern Lights. On the nights when the forecast is clear for the area, we will most likely be using one location for photography to make sure to catch the most of the Aurora show and avoid sitting in the van too much. Fire for grilling sausages will be made if the used location allows it.
