Snowmobiling has been the most convenient way to move over snowy landscapes in Arctic area for decades. Now you can experience the best of riding a snowmobile on silent and comfortable electric snowmobiles!

Snowmobiling is an easy and sometimes only way to reach destinations you have no access with car or other vehicles. Nowadays, it is still the most common type of transportation for reindeer herders during the wintertime.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

On this 3-hour morning tour, the journey begins in daylight. We ride on the private, well-maintained trails through frost covered pine forests and any clearings with views of the surrounding landscapes. Imagine gliding nearly silently through the frozen forest, while still getting the thrill of riding a snowmobile.

We even stop in the middle of the woods to enjoy the silence and serenity and take some beautiful photos along the way. We will also enjoy a nice break by campfire in and enjoy a hot drink to warm up.

The area is also the natural habitat for the reindeers, and you will be able to see reindeer as you ride along. Since eSleds are quiet, we don’t disturb the animals in the area. After the ride, you can feed the reindeer and get to know them better!

ELECTRIC SNOWMOBILES – A BETTER CHOICE

Silent and comfortable eSleds do not use any petrol or other polluting chemicals, just electricity. Since 2018, we have been offering eSled tours as an alternative for normal petrol-powered snowmobiles.

Same fun, same driving experience but in a way that respects the precious Arctic nature!

Overalls, helmet, boots, socks, mittens, balaclava and scarf. Wear your own warm thermal underlayers and middle layer.

Driver's License:

Every driver must be an adult (over 18) with a valid driver’s license. Please remember to take your driver's license with you. Finnish law prohibits driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating drug.

Please note:

The minimum number of participants required for this activity is two paying adults.

This activity depends on snow. If the snowmobile tour is cancelled because of the lack of snow in early winter (November-December) or late spring (April), the refund is 100%.

Duration of 3 hours includes the transport time needed to arrive to our location and to return to the pick-up place.

Driver must be at least 18 years old with a driving license, which is valid in Finland.

You are not allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while driving.

2 people (from the same family or group) get on one snowmobile. Drivers are changed halfway through the ride if necessary.

You need to bring suitable underwear, e.g. a warm layer.

You can take your camera and phone along for the ride.
