Northern Lights adventure with esleds

Join us for a true night time adventure to hunt for the Northern Lights with electric snowmobiles!

During the tour you get to ride electric snowmobiles through the forests and frozen lakes.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We ride our eSleds to the top of a hill far from the city lights – an ideal place for watching the Northern Lights. During the ride we'll stop to observe and admire the night sky and, if we are lucky, see the Northern Lights as well.

Since eSleds are quiet, we don´t disturb animals in the area. Therefore, we have a better chance to meet reindeer and other arctic animals in their natural habitat. There will be a stop on a scenic view point to take some nice photos!

You will enjoy a nice break by campfire in a cozy wooden kota, where there is possibility to grill some sausages with the help of our guide.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY OPTION

Environmentally friendly and silent eSled do not use any petrol or other polluting chemicals, just electricity. Since 2018 we have been offering these new innovative eSled tours as an alternative for normal petrol used snowmobiles. Same fun, same experience but in a way that respects precious Arctic nature!

What is included:

Electric snowmobile Aurora adventure (20-30km, driving time approx. 1,5-2h)
Professional guide
overalls, helmet, boots, socks, mittens, balaclava and scarf
Break in a cozy Kota between 45 min/1h, grilling sausages, flat bread, pastries, hot drinks

Driver's License:

Every driver must be an adult (over 18) with a valid driver’s license. Please remember to take your driver's license with you. Finnish law prohibits driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating drug.

Please note:

Two persons per snowmobile. For groups of 3 persons or other odd number of people, we highly recommend purchasing one single driver supplement.

Children & snowmobiles:

Children less than 140 cm travel in a sleigh pulled by a guide no matter the age. Children taller than 140 cm are allowed to sit on the snowmobile as passengers when paying the adult price. 4–11 years old are considered as children.

Liability:

Snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Personal self-liability is max. 990 €/person/snowmobile/case of accident.
